Chande':
I was involved in an Honors Program at the academy called Phase Two.The Phase Two group is a select number of future professionals ( under 15 ) that are on an accelerated program that mimics more closely the " real time life " of a professional. Speciatly classes were an added bonus for us as well. After acquiring my license, I was lucky enough to meet Virginia. I am blessed to be in such a great salon full of genuine people and I couldn't have asked for a more wise or kind-natured employer. It is here in Old Town Tustin, where you can find me learning and working with the marvelous Virginia! Lyn:
I have been a licensed hairstylist and color specialist since 1999. I believe in continuing my education through classes, conventions, and conferencesĀ in order to maintain an innovative and inspired approach to client satisfaction. My quality shows through in personalized care, a delicate touch, and an aspiration to make every client look and feel their best. Since I have been fortunate to travel, I find inspiration for my color artistry in the painted desert of New Mexico, the blue waters of Jamaica and Maui, the red rocks of Utah and the amazing fall colors of New England. Like many Southern California residents, I was born somewhere else. My family moved to Orange County in 1978, so for me, this is home. I love everything about living here, especially all the diverse cultures. One of my favorite thing to do in the summer is going to reggae music concerts. To me, there is nothing better than sharing a picnic lunch on a blanket with the sweet sounds of music in the background. |

My name is Chande' ( pronounced Shan-Day ). I was born in Orange, California but was raised in Naperville, Illinois. During college I worked at Belle Raye, A Paul Mitchell Focus Salon and Spa in Illinois. I started as a receptionist but was soon promoted to Front Desk Coordinator and Assistant for the salon owner. It was here that I fell in love with hair artistry and decided to pursue it as a career. With knowledgeable suggestions from my peers at the salon, I moved back to California to attend Paul Mitchell The School Costa Mesa. This academy is acknowledged as one of the most prestigious and well-known Paul Mitchell schools in the country. The Paul Mitchell school is also known for it's amazing techniques on personalizing cuts and color.
When I was 12 my oldest sister started beauty school. She was always so excited about what she was learning that it was contagious. Before long she was practicing different hairstyles and techniques on me and it was those experiences that inspired me to become a hairstylist.
